UPDATE 12/24/21: Extended processing window for certain U.S. dollar payments

Effective December 24, 2021, we extended our payment processing window for incoming U.S. dollar wires.

With the introduction of the extended window, incoming U.S. dollar wire payments to your Silvergate account(s) will be processed from 7:00 p.m. PT Sunday to 3:45 p.m. PT Friday.

Our ability to extend payment processing times is a direct result of our customers’ feedback and demonstrates our ongoing commitment to decreasing banking friction.

Effective October 21, 2021, we extended our payment processing window to enable nearly instantaneous processing of certain U.S. dollar payments initiated via SWIFT and from our API.*

This change primarily benefits:

  • Customers who originate and receive payments via SWIFT.
  • Customers who use our API to originate from or receive payments into deposit accounts at Silvergate.

Some Silvergate customers may now see these payment types flow out of or into their accounts outside of our standard operating hours – 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Our ability to extend payment processing times demonstrates our ongoing commitment to decreasing banking friction for our customers and the digital currency ecosystem.
